Pump required for 540 feet borewell

Calculating HP in a particular application of submersible pump| And which cares should be taken care of?

Any pump manufacturing company gives a head-capacity curve or a table according to how deep the water will flow from a given HP and how much efficiency range. if you have required up the required pump for 540 feet borewell Any pump that is installed deeper pumps less water. We should keep in mind that using high HP does not mean that a pump will release more water. Ideally, we should know that a pump should drain only as much water as the aquifer allows the yield rate to maintain a steady state in the pumping water level.

A submersible pump suitable for a single 6-inch borewell will primarily have a pump and motor external diameter of about 5 and odd inches! So as to reduce the pump and allow the necessary margin of lag to rotate the pump. The external diameter of the pump suitable for a 6-inch bore is already decided by a pump manufacturer. Usually, we see that the diameter of the rising pipe which brings water to the surface for a 10 HP pump is in the order of 2 inches and 3 inches depending on the discharge.

With this the speed of the impellers of a pump. Raises water based on the diameter and the stages of the pump which are then re-fixed by the pump manufacturer. Any given discharge capacity requires a few more steps.

The pump manufacturing company correctly tests a borewell for its optimum yield before selecting an ideal pump. This type of test is also known as the 'step drawdown test'. According to this test a submersible pump is lowered to an appropriate depth and the pump is run in stages for a certain time (such as for 1 hour or 2 hours).

In order to maintain a constant discharge for a particular phase at each stage, a discharge valve is made using a glove valve to pump water at very low, low and medium, and high discharge rates. The drop in pumping water level in the drawdown is measured during and at the end of each phase (1,2 hr). Discharge drawdown (pumping water level) gives optimal discharge or delivery of curve wells.

Whenever we install the pump in our house or any other place, we can also try to perform this test while installing the pump as recommended by the pump dealer.

It is important to lower the pump to the appropriate depth at a location where water is sufficient because pumping water levels usually fall depending on the pump's discharge rate and the aquifer yield potential (transparency).

In fact, an ideal pump should drain the water in such a way that the water level in the well or stepwell should stabilize after some time and should not fall further! Because when the water level is over and the pump runs dry, it increases the risk of the pump malfunctioning or the pump will burn easily. To prevent such an untoward, you should apply 1.0 inch, 1.25 inch flexible PVC pipe to the depth of the pump in the borewell! So that we can monitor the pumping water level at any time using an electric water level recorder. To secure it, our PVC guide pipe does not fall into the bore hall, a clamp should be placed at the top of it so that the pipe does not fall into the bore hall.

that why I am saying these words for any borewell pump.
